Giada PC612-1215U Intel Core i3-1215U OPS Module with 8K Output and Gigabit LAN

An OPS computer, built to the Open Pluggable Specification, slides into the slot of an interactive flat panel or signage display and connects through an 80-pin JAE connector, so the panel gains a full PC without a separate box or extra cabling. The Giada PC612-1215U is the Core i3-1215U build of the PC612 series, a 12th Gen Alder Lake OPS module. It suits signage and classroom panels that mainly play content, run a browser or show presentations, where a six-core part is usually enough. The Intel Core i3-1215U has six cores and eight threads at a 15 W TDP with Intel UHD Graphics. Two SO-DIMM slots take up to 32 GB of DDR4-3200, and one M.2 M-Key socket holds a 2242 or 2280 SSD. A watchdog timer and auto power-on help a panel recover without a site visit, and TPM 2.0 is optional where your security policy calls for it.

Through the JAE connector the PC612-1215U carries DisplayPort 1.4 at up to 7680 x 4320, plus HDMI, audio, one USB 3.2 Gen2, two USB 2.0 and a UART into the host panel. The front adds an HDMI port at up to 4096 x 2160, one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen2, two USB 3.2 Gen2 and two USB 2.0 ports, an Intel i219LM Gigabit Ethernet port, mic-in and audio-out. An M.2 E-Key 2230 socket takes an optional Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6 module, with two antenna connectors.

Power is 12 V to 19 V DC, from the panel through the JAE connector or from the DC jack. It is a commercial unit rated from 0 °C to 45 °C with 0.7 m/s airflow and humidity up to 95% non-condensing, with a fan under Smart Fan control, and Giada lists CE, FCC Class B and UKCA. We supply the PC612-1215U with memory, storage and a Windows 11 or Linux image installed and tested in the slot before it ships.
