Neousys Nuvo-2600E-PoE-IGN Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E Fanless Box PC with 4x PoE+ and Ignition Control

Vehicle camera systems need two things from their computer: power for the cameras and a clean start and stop with the engine. The NUVO-2600E-PoE-IGN provides both, with PoE+ on four GbE ports and built-in ignition power control. It is the fullest build of the Neousys NUVO-2600 series of fanless box PCs, with the Intel Elkhart Lake Atom x6425E and a patented PCIe Cassette.

The quad-core Atom x6425E runs at 2.0 GHz base and 3.0 GHz burst within 12 W, with one DDR4-3200 SODIMM up to 32 GB, Intel UHD Graphics and firmware TPM 2.0. That handles multi-camera recording, ALPR capture and telematics, and the low power keeps the NUVO-2600E-PoE-IGN fanless from -25 °C to 70 °C.

Four Intel I210 GbE ports supply IEEE 802.3at PoE+, up to 25.5 W per port within a 100 W budget, through screw-lock RJ45 connectors that resist vibration. The ignition input works with the 8 to 35 V DC terminal block for 12 V and 24 V vehicle systems. The Cassette adds one PCIe x4 slot wired at PCIe 3.0 x2. An isolated RS-485 port, three RS-232 ports or one RS-422/485 and 4-channel isolated DI and DO handle vehicle signals, and footage can be recorded to the front-accessible 2.5-inch tray. Two mini PCIe sockets and an M.2 B key socket with dual micro SIM slots take 4G or 5G modules. Without cameras to power, the NUVO-2600E-IGN is the simpler choice.

Vibration and shock are tested to MIL-STD-810G, and the 205 x 155 x 86 mm chassis weighs 2.3 kg with an optional wall-mount kit.
