Sintrones VPC-101RB2S-OB-ONX16 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB 10.1″ IP66 Rugged Panel PC with Optically Bonded 1000-Nit Touchscreen

An operator screen and an AI computer usually mean two boxes and the cabling between them. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-ONX16 combines both: it is the Orin NX 16GB build of the Sintrones VPC-101RB2S series, without a function board, so the 10.1 inch screen, Jetson module and M12 networking share one sealed IP66 rugged panel PC. Sintrones lists the series as coming soon, and it is available to order.

The Orin NX 16GB is the largest module offered in the range, with an eight-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU, a 1024-core NVIDIA GPU and 16 GB of LPDDR5, rated at up to 100 TOPS. That leaves headroom for detection models running on network camera streams while the display shows the results and the operator interface. NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 or above is pre-installed as the BSP on an NVMe SSD in the M.2 2242 M key slot.

The 10.1″ display is a 1280 x 800 panel at 1,000 nits with 800:1 contrast, 178 degree viewing angles and a 50,000 hour lifetime, optically bonded to projected capacitive touch with anti-glare and anti-smudge treatment. One 2.5GbE and one GbE port use M12 X-coded connectors. CAN FD, one RS-232/422/485 port, one RS-232 port and two USB 2.0 ports sit on M8, alongside three 60 V digital inputs and four 12 V DC/100 mA outputs. A sealed service bay holds a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB-C service port and the Nano SIM, and M.2 slots take optional WWAN, Wi-Fi and GNSS.

Power is 9 to 60 V DC with overcurrent, overvoltage, surge and reverse polarity protection and ignition detection. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-ONX16 is rated from -25 °C to 60 °C with 0.6 m/s airflow and -40 °C to 85 °C in storage, and tested to MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration, with E-Mark compliance, CE, FCC Class A and UKCA. It mounts on VESA 100 x 100 at 260 x 179 x 75 mm and 4.15 kg. The VPC-101RB2S-OB-P-ONX16 adds four PoE+ ports, and the VPC-101RB2S-OB-G2-ONX16 adds GMSL-2 cameras.
