Vecow HPS-1000 AMD Ryzen Pro 5000 Embedded Industrial PCs

Some projects are standardized on AMD, whether for software validation, graphics drivers or supply planning, and still need the wide DC input, isolated I/O and temperature range expected of a rugged box. The Vecow HPS-1000 series covers that brief with rugged industrial PCs built on AMD Ryzen Pro 5000 Cezanne processors in a 260 mm wide wall-mount chassis. The result is a box that can sit on a vehicle, a robot or a production line with the same mounting and power arrangements.

Every HPS-1000 shares one core. The Ryzen Pro range runs from the 6-core 5650GE at 35 W to the 8-core Ryzen 7 Pro 5750G at 65 W, with two DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMMs for up to 64 GB and ECC as an option. AMD Radeon Graphics drives three DisplayPort outputs. Networking is one Intel I225-IT 2.5GbE port and three Intel I210 GbE ports, two of them IEEE 802.3at PoE+, and four COM ports, 16 isolated DIO, six USB ports, M.2 Key B and Key E sockets and an external SIM socket handle field devices and wireless. Every model also has an M.2 Key M PCIe x4 socket and a push-in CFast socket.

The three builds differ in storage. The HPS-1000-4G keeps two 2.5″ SSD or HDD brackets inside the unit with RAID 0 or 1, suited to controllers where storage should stay sealed. The HPS-1000-4R moves two 2.5″ trays to the front panel for field swaps. The HPS-1000-4S combines two front-access M.2 SSD trays with one front-access 2.5″ tray for fast removable storage in vision systems. All three share the same processor options, I/O and mounting, so the storage choice can be made per site without changing the software image.

HPS-1000 rugged industrial PCs typically serve factory automation, in-vehicle computing and autonomous robots. A 9 V to 50 V DC input with 16-mode software ignition control suits vehicle and cabinet power, and the series is rated from -40 °C to 60 °C, with MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration testing and EN 50155 and EN 50121-3-2 EMC listings. The 3.8 kg chassis wall-mounts, with DIN-rail and 2U rack kits optional, and TPM 2.0 supports secure boot for connected sites.
