Shelf edges, counters and point-of-sale fixtures often leave a long, narrow space where a standard 16:9 screen would waste most of its area. The SH28W is a ViviSign stretched display built for that shape: a 28 inch bar-type LCD at 1920 x 360, with 700 nits and a 4000:1 contrast ratio.
The panel is a native stretched LCD, made as an uncut bar-type panel rather than a standard screen cut down to size, and it is rated for 24/7 operation. It offers 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, so content stays legible to shoppers walking past at an angle. At 700 nits it suits well-lit shop floors. A narrow bezel helps it fit a shelf or counter fixture. ViviSign names point of sale and shelf displays as the intended uses.
The SH28W comes in two builds. As a monitor it takes one HDMI input and shows content from an external player or PC. The alternative build adds an Android 8.1 player with a quad-core Cortex-A35 processor, LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so content can run from the display itself. Within the same range, the SH28N offers 1920 x 360 at 28 inch and the SH286W offers 1920 x 540 at 28.6 inch.
Power comes from an external 12 V DC adapter, drawing 60 W. The SH28W operates from 0 °C to 40 °C at 10 to 80% humidity, measures 732.40 x 165.40 x 40 mm and weighs 6 kg, and ships with a mounting bracket. Content is shown at the panel’s native 1920 x 360, so artwork should be designed for that canvas rather than scaled from a 16:9 layout.
