Our engineering team can create a bootable USB flash drive tailored to reimaging systems with your specific Windows build. These drives are correctly formatted and partitioned, providing an efficient solution for restoring your systems to their original state.

Long Lifecycle Support With Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC

We often advise our customers to opt for the long-term service channel (LTSC) versions of Windows operating systems. Choosing Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC version is beneficial as it guarantees the availability of support and security updates throughout the lifespan of a long-term project. It is important to note, however, that the release of LTSC versions of Windows typically trails behind their initial OS launch. Once Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC is available, we’ll be sure to let you know.

We currently recommend using Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, or its LTSC variant, as the operating system for embedded systems. This OS is particularly designed for industrial applications where the full spectrum of Windows features is not required. Optimized for less powerful hardware, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise can operate effectively even without a screen. Its capability to be customized to directly boot into a specific application makes it an ideal choice for deployment on a variety of embedded systems, providing a streamlined and efficient user experience.
