Winmate EACIL21 Intel Apollo Lake Celeron N3350 or Pentium N4200 IoT Gateway with 9 to 36V DC

On a smart factory floor, a gateway is often also the box that drives a status screen or a small signage display. The EACIL21 is Winmate’s small fanless IoT gateway built for both, with an Apollo Lake Intel Celeron N3350 as standard or Pentium N4200 as an option, and a USB-C port that carries 4K DisplayPort video.

The Celeron N3350 runs at up to 2.4 GHz and the optional Pentium N4200 at up to 2.5 GHz, with 4 GB of LPDDR3 on board. Storage is 64 GB of eMMC as standard, with a 128 GB mSATA SSD optional. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 20.04, which typically suits gateway software, dashboards and signage players.

The EACIL21 has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports. Its USB-C port runs in Alt Mode, with DisplayPort audio and video at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, USB data and power delivery of up to 15 W, so one cable can feed a compatible monitor. A full-size mini PCIe slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the EACIL20 is the slimmer version of this gateway with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and optional HDMI, and the EACIEK20 is the newer gateway with an Elkhart Lake Celeron N6211 and 2.5GbE.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on a two-pin terminal block, with an AC adapter optional. The fanless IP30 metal housing runs from 0 to 55 °C, is tested for shock to IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration to IEC 60068-2-64, and mounts on a desk or wall, with VESA mounting optional. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the EACIL21 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
