M320TF-MR Overview

On a ship’s bridge or in an offshore control room, one large screen often has to carry charts, camera feeds and automation views at once. The M320TF-MR is Winmate’s 32 inch chassis marine monitor: a 3840 x 2160 4K display in a fanless metal enclosure, running from a 9 to 36 V DC supply and operating from -15 to 55 °C.

The panel delivers 350 nits as standard, with 700 nits as an option, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles horizontally and vertically, so crew around a console see a consistent picture. The front is AR glass on an impact-resistant screen, and projected capacitive multi-touch is available as an option. Capacitive touch keys on the bezel give access to display functions, so there are no mechanical buttons to wear or collect salt.

Inputs are one VGA, one DVI and one DisplayPort 1.2, with HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 as options, which covers both older navigation computers and current 4K sources. An optional RS-232 port handles remote control, an optional USB port serves the touch screen, and an optional audio line-in is available. The M320TF-MIL is the defense version of the same chassis, and for smaller consoles the R15L600-MRA3FP is a 15 inch marine display with PCAP touch.

The M320TF-MR draws 75 W typical, operates at 10 to 95% humidity and stores from -20 to 60 °C. It measures 777.58 x 477.62 x 48 mm, weighs 12.9 kg and mounts on VESA holes on the rear, so it can go on an arm, a bracket or a console frame. Winmate names marine bridge systems, shipboard automation and offshore operations as target applications.

Official Winmate USA Distributor

Things Embedded is an official Winmate USA distributor, supplying the M320TF-MR configured for USA marine projects. Within the Winmate range the M320TF-MIL is the defense version of the same 32 inch chassis with MIL-STD compliance, and the R15L600-MRA3FP is a 15 inch marine display with PCAP touch for smaller consoles.

As a large-format ship's display the M320TF-MR sits among our marine displays and our 32 inch monitors. Where a bridge or offshore control room needs one 4K screen on a wide DC supply, with room for charts and camera views side by side, this is the model to specify.
