Winmate MC432 4.3″ Rugged Handheld Computer with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 and Built-In Barcode Scanner

Warehouse picking, goods-in and field service teams often scan barcodes all shift, and a handheld with a built-in scanner and physical keys keeps that work quick. The MC432 is Winmate’s 4.3 inch rugged handheld computer for that work, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, a 4.3″ PCAP touch screen, a standard 1D/2D barcode reader and an IP65 housing. Winmate names field service, warehouse data capture and mobile workforce operations as its intended uses.

The Snapdragon 660 is an octa-core processor at 2.2 GHz, with 4 GB of memory, 64 GB of storage and a Micro SD slot, running Android 10 with GMS. The 480 x 800 display gives 650 nits, is optically bonded and uses projected capacitive multi-touch. A 23-key physical keypad with white backlighting sits below it, with two scan keys, volume keys and a power key. A 16MP autofocus rear camera with LED is built in, along with ambient light, e-compass, gyro, acceleration and proximity sensors.

The barcode reader is a 1D/2D engine with a 30° scan angle, and NFC supports read, write and peer-to-peer modes. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/GLONASS are standard, with 4G on a Nano SIM as an option. A USB Type-C OTG port handles data and charging at 5 V or 9 V. Within the Winmate range the TC605 is a 6″ Android handheld with a Qualcomm QCM4490, a 1080 x 2160 screen and IP65 and IP68 sealing, and the TC605-EX is its ATEX and IECEx Zone 2 version for hazardous areas.

The MC432 is sealed to IP65 and tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6 Procedure I for shock and Method 514.6 for vibration, with drops of 1.8 m in its boot and 1.6 m without. It runs from -20 to 50 °C and carries CE, FCC, UKCA, CB, IC, RoHS, REACH and WEEE marks among others. An adapter, USB Type-C cable, screen protector and hand strap come with it. We supply the MC432 configured, with the OS installed, and tested, ready to deploy.
