Winmate R08IAN3S-PMU1 8.4″ Panel Mount PC with Intel N150 and Resistive Touch

A small HMI set into a cabinet door keeps controls at the operator’s eye line without a separate PC. The R08IAN3S-PMU1 is Winmate’s 8.4 inch panel mount PC: a fanless Intel Processor N150 computer behind an 8.4″ 800 x 600 display, intended for machine control, factory automation and operator HMI.

The Intel Processor N150 is a four-core Twin Lake processor with 6 MB cache at up to 3.6 GHz, which typically suits HMI software and machine control in a fanless design. One DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM socket holds 8 GB as standard with 16 GB as an option. Storage is a 128 GB NVMe SSD with options to 2 TB, or an optional 2.5″ SATA III drive up to 2 TB where no NVMe SSD is fitted. TPM 2.0 is on board. The 8.4″ panel runs at 600 nits with 600:1 contrast and a brightness adjustment knob, with resistive touch or protection glass as options.

Two 2.5GbE ports can separate machine and plant networks, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports take scanners and keyboards. A USB-C port (USB 3.2 Gen 2) supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for a second screen, and HDMI 2.0b is optional. One RS-232/422/485 port and one RS-232 port link PLCs and serial instruments, two speakers are built in, and an M.2 2230 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module. The R08IE3S-PMU1 is the earlier 8.4 inch panel mount build with an Intel Celeron N6211, and the R08IAN3S-IPU1 is the same size with a front rated IP65.

Power is 12 V DC on a DC jack, and it comes with a 50 W AC adapter. The R08IAN3S-PMU1 is fanless, operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity non-condensing and carries CE and FCC marks. It fits a cut-out with the supplied clips, with VESA mounting as an option. We supply it configured, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Ubuntu 24.04 installed, and tested before dispatch.
