Winmate R08IE3S-IPU1 8.4″ Front IP65 Panel PC with Intel Elkhart Lake Celeron N6211 and Resistive Touch

An 8.4 inch screen is a common size for a machine HMI that shows a handful of controls and alarms on a narrow cabinet door. The R08IE3S-IPU1 is Winmate’s 8.4 inch front IP65 panel PC for that job, with an 8.4″ 800 x 600 display at 600 nits and an Intel Celeron N6211 in a fanless metal housing.

The Intel Celeron N6211 is a low-power Elkhart Lake processor running at up to 3.0 GHz, which suits a single HMI screen, a data entry form or a status display. Memory is DDR4 on one SO-DIMM, 4 GB as standard with 8 or 16 GB as options. A 128 GB SSD is standard on an M.2 2242 B-key SATA slot, with larger options and an optional 2.5″ SATA III drive. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied on the R08IE3S-IPU1.

Connections include two 2.5GbE ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port (RS-232 by default) and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, and two speakers. HDMI 2.0 is optional for a second screen and an M.2 2230 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the R08IAN3S-IPU1 keeps this front IP65 design with a quad-core Intel N150, and the R08IE3S-IPT1WT is the wide temperature version rated from -20 to 60 °C.

Power is 12 V DC on a barrel jack, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 50 W and a power cord supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 to 60 °C. It is rated IP65 at the front, so the rear belongs inside a cabinet or enclosure. Panel mounting with the supplied clips is standard and VESA mounting is optional, with VESA screws in the box. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R08IE3S-IPU1 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
