Winmate R08L200-IPU1 8.4″ Front IP65 Monitor with Resistive Touch and SVGA LCD

Machine builders often need a small display that sits in a control panel door and shrugs off coolant splash and dust at the front. The R08L200-IPU1 is Winmate’s 8.4 inch industrial monitor for that job: an SVGA panel, with front IP65 protection against dust and low-pressure water jets in a fanless metal housing. It connects to a separate industrial computer or controller and fits into cabinets, racks and fixtures.

The 8.4″ 800 x 600 panel runs at 600 nits with 600:1 contrast and 150 degree horizontal and 130 degree vertical viewing angles, which suits indoor control panels and machine fronts. The 4:3 format matches many existing HMI and SCADA screen layouts. Touch is optional: resistive touch, which works with gloved fingers or a stylus, or a protection glass without touch can be specified to suit the job.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI inputs as options. Touch connects over a single USB port. Set-up is through a five-key OSD. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional, as is a remote controller. The R08L200-IPU1TR is the transflective version, with resistive touch as the default and SAW as an option, and the R08IAN3S-IPU1 is the panel PC version with a quad-core Intel N150 built in.

The 8.4 inch monitor is rated IP65 at the front and mounts into a panel cut-out or on VESA. It runs from 12 V DC, and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter, power cord and VGA and HDMI cables are supplied. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C, and it carries CE and FCC marks.
