Winmate R10IW3S-VMT2(HB) 10.4″ Vehicle Mount Rugged Panel PC with Intel Core i5-8265U and Front IP65

A computer in a forklift cab or yard tractor takes constant vibration, knocks and wide swings in supply voltage, and the driver needs a screen that stays readable. The R10IW3S-VMT2(HB) is Winmate’s 10.4 inch vehicle mount panel PC for that work, with an aluminum housing treated against corrosion, a front IP65 dust and water rating (except the I/O) and shock and vibration protection to MIL-STD-810 and IEC 60068-2-27.

An Intel Core i5-8265U Whiskey Lake processor runs at 1.6 GHz with turbo up to 3.9 GHz, with one DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM holding 4 GB as standard and up to 32 GB, and TPM 2.0 fitted. Storage is an M.2 2242 B-key SSD from 128 GB, or an optional M.2 2280 NVMe SSD up to 4 TB, and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 20.04 can be supplied. The 10.4 inch 1024 x 768 XGA screen gives 350 nits and a 1000:1 contrast ratio behind anti-reflective protection glass, with resistive touch or glass without touch chosen at order, and an optional high brightness panel improves readability in sunlight.

The I/O covers two Gigabit LAN ports on Intel controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port, with an optional HDMI 1.4 output. Options include GPS, WWAN or WLAN and Bluetooth, plus GPIO or CAN bus for vehicle data. The R15IW3S-67C3(HB) is the 15 inch full IP67 model on the same processor, and the R10IK3S-VMT2(HB) is another 10.4 inch vehicle mount panel PC in the Winmate range.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC with isolation on a three-pin terminal block, with an optional 6 to 60 V DC input and optional ignition on/off delay so the computer shuts down cleanly when the engine stops. The R10IW3S-VMT2(HB) is fanless, operates from -25 °C to 55 °C, is shock-tested to 30 g for 18 ms and complies with EN 50155 for EMC, with CE and FCC marks. It measures 315 x 250 x 67 mm, weighs 2.9 kg and mounts on 75 mm VESA or an optional yoke stand.
