Winmate R12IAN3S-CHM2WT 12.1″ Chassis Panel PC with Quad-Core Intel N150 and Resistive Touch

An operator terminal on an arm in a cold store, a loading area or an unheated building has to keep working through temperatures that a standard panel PC is not rated for. The R12IAN3S-CHM2WT is Winmate’s 12.1 inch wide-temperature chassis panel PC, rated to operate from -20 °C to 60 °C, with a quad-core Intel N150 and a 12.1″ 1024 x 768 display at 500 nits with 1000:1 contrast. Resistive touch or plain protection glass are options, and Winmate aims it at industrial HMI and automation work.

Inside is an Intel Processor N150, a quad-core Twin Lake chip at up to 3.6 GHz with Intel Graphics, typically enough for HMI runtimes and SCADA clients without a fan. One DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM holds 8 GB, or 16 GB as an option. A 128 GB SSD is standard with options to 2 TB, or an optional 2.5″ SATA III drive in place of the NVMe SSD. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 24.04.

Two 2.5GbE ports can keep a plant network apart from a machine network, and the two DB9 serial ports (one RS-232/422/485, one RS-232) reach PLCs and older instruments. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode complete the set, with HDMI 2.0b and Wi-Fi as options. The R12IP7T-CHM2WT is the earlier wide-temperature chassis model with an Intel Pentium N4200, and the R12IAN3S-CHM2 is the same N150 chassis rated for 0 °C to 50 °C.

The enclosed chassis fixes to a VESA mount, which suits arm, desk or wall installations rather than a cabinet cut-out. A 100 to 240 V AC adapter is supplied for the 12 V DC input. The fanless metal housing runs from -20 °C to 60 °C at 30 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with CE and FCC marks. We supply the R12IAN3S-CHM2WT configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
