The R12IE3S-CHM2 is Winmate's 12.1 inch chassis panel PC, combining an Intel Celeron N6211 with a 1024 x 768 screen at 500 nits in a fanless metal housing with a front rated IP65. It suits line-side HMIs on arms and walls where operators read process screens from a distance.

R12IE3S-CHM2 Overview

An HMI viewed from several steps away needs a bright, wide-angle screen, and on an arm or wall there is no cabinet PC to drive it. The R12IE3S-CHM2 is Winmate’s 12.1 inch chassis panel PC: a fanless Intel Celeron N6211 computer and a 1024 x 768 screen at 500 nits in a metal housing with a front rated IP65.

The Intel Celeron N6211 is an Elkhart Lake processor running at up to 3.0 GHz, with the Celeron N6210 as an option. One DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM socket takes 4 GB as standard and 8 GB or 16 GB as options, and storage is a 128 GB M.2 2242 SSD with a 2.5 inch SATA bay available. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied. The 12.1 inch panel runs at 500 nits with 1000:1 contrast and 178° viewing angles, and resistive touch or protection glass are front options.

The underside carries two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port and an optional HDMI 2.0 output, with an M.2 E-key slot for a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module. The R12IE3S-CHM2WT is the wide temperature version rated from -20 °C to 60 °C, and the R12IE3S-PMM2 is the panel mount version.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm jack, with a 12 V, 50 W AC adapter supplied. The R12IE3S-CHM2 is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, has a front rated IP65 and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 303 x 217 x 60 mm, weighs 3.5 kg and mounts on a 75 x 75 mm VESA pattern.
