Winmate R15IT3S-PMC3 15″ Panel Mount PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and 1024 x 768 Display

Plenty of 15 inch HMIs live in clean, dry places: a control cabinet or a machine enclosure. There the priority is fanless reliability, the right I/O and enough processing for modern HMI software. The R15IT3S-PMC3 is Winmate’s 15 inch panel mount PC for those installs, with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 and a 300 nit 1024 x 768 display with 2000:1 contrast and 176 degree viewing angles.

The Intel Core i5-1135G7 runs at up to 4.2 GHz, with an i5-1145G7 as an option, and sits alongside one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM socket fitted with 4 GB and options to 32 GB. Storage is a 128 GB SSD on an M.2 M-key socket that takes a 2242 SATA or 2280 NVMe drive, with NVMe options up to 4 TB and an optional SATA III drive up to 2 TB. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied. Resistive touch is an option, as is plain protection glass for display-only panels.

I/O sits on the rear: two Gigabit LAN ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, an optional HDMI 2.0 output for a second screen and two speakers. An M.2 2230 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module, with Bluetooth also available. For a front that will be splashed or cleaned, the R15IT3S-IPC3 adds a front IP65 rating to the same design, and the R17IT3S-PMM1 is the 17 inch panel mount model.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm jack, and a 100 to 240 V AC 120 W adapter is supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, which suits indoor control cabinets and machine enclosures. It measures 400 x 320 x 69 mm, needs a 359.6 x 274.1 mm cut-out and weighs 5.1 kg; mounting clips are supplied for panel mounting, with VESA and open frame mounting also supported. No IP rating is stated for this model. It carries CE and FCC marks.
