Winmate R15MG3S-EHC3 15″ PCAP Touch HMI with Arm-Based MediaTek Genio 510 and MIL-STD-810H

A 15 inch 4:3 operator screen running a single dedicated application does not always need an x86 PC behind it. The R15MG3S-EHC3 is Winmate’s 15 inch E Series HMI panel PC built on the Arm-based MediaTek Genio 510: a 15″ 1024 x 768 projected capacitive multi-touch screen with a front IP65 rating, Android 13 as standard and shock and vibration tested to MIL-STD-810H. Winmate names manufacturing, logistics and smart factory applications for the E Series.

The MediaTek Genio 510 has six cores, two Arm Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55, each running at up to 2.0 GHz. That suits a dedicated HMI or Android app running all day on little power, without a fan. Memory is 4 GB of LPDDR4 and storage is 32 GB on board, with a Micro SD card slot for logs, recipes or media. Android 13 is the default OS, and Yocto Linux with Qt 5.15 or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied instead.

One Gigabit LAN port connects the panel to a PLC or the plant network, and PoE powered-device input to IEEE 802.3at is available as an option. USB covers two USB 2.0 Type-A ports and one USB 2.0 Type-C port with OTG for setup and service, one RS-232/422/485 port, set to RS-232 by default, handles serial devices, and a Micro HDMI output is optional. Within the Winmate range, the R15IAN3S-EHC3 is the same 15 inch E Series design with a quad-core Intel Processor N150 for Windows 11, and the R15MG3S-PCC3-POE is the S Series model powered over Ethernet.

Power is 12 V DC on a terminal block, and a 12 V 50 W AC adapter is supplied. It panel mounts with the clips supplied, or takes a VESA mount, has a metal front bezel with a plastic back cover, and runs from 0 °C to 50 °C. It is shock and vibration tested to MIL-STD-810H Methods 516.8 and 514.8, Procedure I, and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R15MG3S-EHC3 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
