Winmate R17IT3S-IPM1 17″ Front IP65 Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and 1280 x 1024 Display

When an operator has to watch several machines, trends and alarms on one screen, 1280 x 1024 pixels make a real difference, and in a production hall that screen still needs a front that can be washed. The R17IT3S-IPM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch front IP65 panel PC, with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 and a 350 nit 1280 x 1024 SXGA display with 1000:1 contrast and 170 by 160 degree viewing angles.

The Intel Core i5-1135G7 runs at up to 4.2 GHz, with an i5-1145G7 as an option, and sits alongside one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM socket fitted with 4 GB and options to 32 GB. Storage is a 128 GB SSD on an M.2 M-key socket that takes a 2242 SATA or 2280 NVMe drive, with NVMe options up to 4 TB and an optional SATA III drive up to 2 TB. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied. Resistive touch is an option, or protection glass without touch for display-only use.

I/O sits on the rear: two Gigabit LAN ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, an optional HDMI 2.0 output for a second screen and two speakers. An M.2 2230 E-key slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module, with Bluetooth also available. The R17IT3S-PMM1 is the same 17 inch computer without the front IP65 rating, and the R19IT3S-IPA1 is the 19 inch front IP65 model.

Power is 12 V DC on a 2.5 mm jack, and a 100 to 240 V AC 120 W adapter is supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, which suits indoor control cabinets and machine enclosures. It measures 440 x 360 x 80 mm, needs a 394 x 314 mm cut-out and weighs 5.9 kg; mounting clips are supplied for panel mounting, with VESA and open frame mounting also supported. It carries CE and FCC marks.
