Winmate R19L300-OFM2TR 19″ Open Frame Transflective Monitor with 350 Nit SXGA LCD and 2000:1 Contrast

A screen facing a window or an open doorway has to deal with light landing on the glass as well as the light coming from behind it. A transflective panel reflects part of that ambient light back through the image. The R19L300-OFM2TR is Winmate’s 19 inch open frame transflective monitor: a 1280 x 1024 SXGA LCD at 350 nits with 2000:1 contrast, in a metal frame built into your own enclosure.

The panel shows 16.7 million colors across an active area of 376.32 x 301.06 mm, with viewing angles of 89° in every direction, so passers-by see the same image from either side. Touch is optional: resistive touch for gloves and styluses, SAW touch for a clear glass surface, or protection glass without touch for display-only information screens.

VGA is the standard video input, with HDMI and DVI available as options, and a USB port carries the touch signal to the host. An optional 3.5 mm audio line-in with twin speakers adds sound, and a five-key OSD panel on the rear sets brightness and picture. The R19L300-OFM2 is the same 19 inch frame without the transflective layer, and the S17L500-OFA1TR is the 17 inch transflective option.

The R19L300-OFM2TR runs from 12 V DC and ships with a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter. It is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C and 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 445 x 355 x 56 mm, with 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm VESA holes, and can also be panel mounted. It carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate lists industrial visualization, control rooms and equipment monitoring as typical uses for its open frame range, along with ATMs, vending machines, airport information displays and mall kiosks.
