Winmate S17L500-PMA1HB 17″ Panel Mount Monitor with 1000 Nit SXGA Display and Resistive Touch

Machines near loading doors, windows or under strong lighting wash out an ordinary screen, and operators end up shading it with a hand. The S17L500-PMA1HB is Winmate’s 17 inch panel mount monitor with a 1000 nit high-brightness panel for those positions, and it connects to a separate PC in factory automation, kiosks and control rooms.

The 17″ panel shows 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) at 1000 nits, with 1000:1 contrast and viewing angles of 170 degrees horizontal and 160 degrees vertical. At 1000 nits the panel is bright enough to read in direct sunlight or under strong lighting, which a standard 300 to 500 nit screen can struggle with. Resistive touch is an option, as is protection glass without touch, so the screen can be specified for touch or display-only duty. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) handle the on-screen menu, and a remote controller is optional.

The S17L500-PMA1HB connects to a separate industrial PC or controller over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI inputs available as options, and both a VGA and an HDMI cable come in the box. A USB port carries touch data back to the host. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Within the Winmate range the S17L500-PMM1 is the same 17″ panel mount design with a 350 nit panel for indoor lighting, and the S17L500-RMM1 is the rear mount version.

Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input listed as an option, and an AC adapter and power cord are supplied. The fanless metal housing with an aluminum bezel runs from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. VESA mounting is standard and panel mounting is listed as an option, with VESA screws supplied. It carries CE and FCC marks.
