Winmate W10MG3S-GSH2 10.1″ Full IP65 Rugged Panel PC with Arm-Based MediaTek Genio 510 and MIL-STD-810H

Machine HMIs in wash-down areas and outdoor terminals need a sealed back as well as a sealed front, because water finds its way into standard USB and RJ45 sockets. The W10MG3S-GSH2 is Winmate’s 10.1 inch G-WIN GS panel PC for that kind of site: an aluminum housing, sealed to IP65 all round, with M12 connectors on every external port and a 10.1″ 1280 x 800 projected capacitive touchscreen at 350 nits with 800:1 contrast.

Processing comes from a MediaTek Genio 510, a six-core Arm processor with two Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. It has 4 GB of LPDDR4, 32 GB of onboard eMMC and a Micro SD slot. Android 13 is the default operating system, with Yocto Linux (kernel 5.15.47 with Qt 5.15) or Ubuntu 22.04 as options. That suits HMI front ends, data collection screens and kiosk apps more than heavy local processing, and the low power draw is what lets the 10.1 inch housing stay fanless and sealed.

All connections are sealed: one Gigabit LAN, one USB 2.0 and one RS-232 port on M12 connectors, with RS-422/485 available as an option on the serial port, plus one USB Type-C port and a Micro SD slot. One speaker is built in. Protection glass is optional. M12 power, serial and USB/LAN cables and three protective caps are supplied. The W10MG3S-GCH2 is the 10.1 inch G-WIN GC model, rated IP65 at the front with standard connectors, and the W10IAN3S-GSH2 takes the same GS housing with an Intel N150 for x86 software.

Power is 12 V DC on an M12 connector. The unit operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -30 °C to 60 °C, and is tested to MIL-STD-810H Method 516.8 for shock and Method 514.8 for vibration. It mounts in a panel or on VESA and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the W10MG3S-GSH2 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
