Yuan SC400N1 AIO PCIe HDMI, SDI and Multi-Format Video Capture Card with 1080p60 Input

A shared capture PC rarely sees the same source twice: an SDI camera one day, a laptop over HDMI or VGA the next. The SC400N1 AIO is Yuan’s all-in-one PCIe HDMI, SDI and Multi-Format video capture card, taking SDI, HDMI, DVI-I, YPbPr, CVBS or S-Video on one full height board and capturing one channel at up to 1920 x 1080 and 60 fps.

SDI captures 1920 x 1080 at up to 60 fps, 1080i, 720p and SD at 480i or 576i. HDMI, VGA and YPbPr sources capture from 640 x 480 up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps, including 1280 x 1024 and 1024 x 768 computer modes, with further resolutions available through the SDK. S-Video and CVBS capture at 480i or 576i. Yuan lists RGB24, RGB32, YUY2, YV12 and NV12 capture formats, stereo embedded audio at 16-bit and 32 to 48 kHz, and VANC capture for ancillary data.

The card uses a PCIe x1 Gen 2 link and carries 16 GPIO lines and a watchdog. DirectShow and V4L2 drivers let vMix, OBS, Zoom, Skype, Teams, Discord, Slack, Cisco Webex and GoToMeeting use it, with Yuan’s Windows and Linux SDK for custom software. The SC400N 1-L AIO is the low profile version with DVI-I and SDI connectors, and the SC700N1 AIO is a further single-channel card for the same mix of sources.

Yuan lists Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, Linux 4.8 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit builds, Linux on ARM, and NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX, so the card can sit in an x86 PC or feed an ARM or Jetson based system. The board measures 94.43 x 101.02 mm in PCIe full height form. Yuan does not state an operating temperature range on its model page, so ask us where the card will run in an enclosed system.
