PCI ExpressSC400N1-L DVI / CVBS Overview
Control rooms and test benches often keep a mix of digital and analog equipment, and a capture card that accepts both can avoid a rack of converters. The SC400N1-L DVI / CVBS is Yuan’s low profile PCIe video capture card with DVI-I, YPbPr, S-Video and composite inputs at up to 1920 x 1080 at 60/50 fps. It can suit recording and monitoring hosts with a single low profile slot and one source to capture at a time.
HDMI and DVI run from 1080p60 down through 720p and PC resolutions to SD, with more resolutions available through the SDK. YPbPr runs up to 1080p60, and S-Video and composite capture 480i and 576i. Capture formats are 8-bit RGB24, RGB32, YUY2, YV12 and NV12, and embedded stereo audio is captured at 16-bit, 32 to 48 kHz. There is no video output.
It connects over PCIe x1 Gen2. Hardware cropping and scaling, auto signal detection and a deinterlace engine run on the card, which also carries 16 GPIO and a watchdog and supports multiple instances and multiple cards. YUAN provides a Windows and Linux SDK, and vMix, OBS and other DirectShow or V4L2 software is supported. The SC400N1-L HDV takes the same inputs and adds optional loop-through outputs and 10-bit P010, and the SC400N1-L HDAV covers HDMI, S-Video and composite.
Driver support covers Windows and Linux 2.6.14 or higher, 32-bit and 64-bit, plus Linux ARM on NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. We supply the SC400N1-L DVI / CVBS fitted and tested in the host system it goes into, with drivers installed and each input checked against the sources you plan to use.
