PCI ExpressSC400N2-L AIO Overview
Some systems need to capture a broadcast SDI feed and a local computer or camera source side by side, from a host with only a low profile slot free. The SC400N2-L AIO is Yuan’s low profile PCIe video capture card for that pairing, with one SDI input and one DVI-I input capturing two channels at up to 1920 x 1080 at 60/50 fps. It can suit studio monitoring, lecture capture and control-room recording.
The SDI input handles 3G-SDI at 1080p60/50, HD-SDI at 1080p30/25/24, 1080i and 720p, and SD-SDI at 480i and 576i. The DVI-I input accepts HDMI, DVI, VGA, YPbPr, S-Video and composite, with HDMI and DVI up to 1920 x 1200p at 30/25/24 fps and 1080p60, YPbPr up to 1080p60 and analog video at 480i and 576i. Capture formats are 8-bit RGB24, RGB32, YUY2, YV12 and NV12, with HDMI and SDI embedded audio at 16-bit, 32 to 48 kHz.
It connects over PCIe x1 Gen2. Hardware cropping and scaling, auto signal detection and a deinterlace engine run on the card, which also carries 16 GPIO and a watchdog and supports multiple instances and multiple cards. YUAN provides a Windows and Linux SDK, and vMix, OBS and other DirectShow or V4L2 software is supported. The SC400N1-L AIO captures one channel from HDMI, SDI or DVI, and the SC542N2-L Hybrid is another two-channel SDI and DVI card.
Driver support covers Windows and Linux 2.6.14 or higher, 32-bit and 64-bit, plus Linux ARM on NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. We supply the SC400N2-L AIO fitted and tested in the host system it goes into, with drivers installed and both inputs checked before it ships.
