Yuan SC400N8 M2 TVI M.2 TVI Capture Card with 8 x TVI Inputs at 1080p30

The SC400N8 M2 TVI is Yuan's eight-input M.2 TVI capture card, taking TVI, CVI, AHD and CVBS cameras at up to 1920 x 1080 at 30/25 fps, with eight mono audio inputs, eight GPIO and a watchdog. It suits compact NVRs and vehicle systems that record several analog HD cameras.

  • 8 x TVI Inputs: Eight TVI inputs, each up to 1920 x 1080 at 30/25 fps, so one M.2 card can record eight HD cameras.
  • TVI, CVI, AHD and CVBS: Analog HD formats TVI, CVI and AHD plus CVBS and 960H, so newer and older cameras can share the card.
  • 8 x Mono Audio: Eight mono audio inputs on a wafer connector, sampled at 8 or 16 kHz, for camera microphones or intercom audio.
  • GPIO and Watchdog: Eight GPIO lines and a watchdog for alarm inputs, triggers and unattended recording systems.
  • M.2 Type M, PCIe x4: An M.2 Type M card on a PCIe x4 link, with RCA breakout cabling for the eight video inputs.

SC400N8 M2 TVI Overview

Vehicle recorders, site security boxes and compact NVRs often run several analog HD cameras over existing coax, and the host may only have an M.2 socket free. The SC400N8 M2 TVI is Yuan’s eight-input M.2 TVI capture card for that kind of multi-camera recording.

Each of the eight inputs takes TVI and compatible analog HD (CVI and AHD) at 1920 x 1080 at 30/25 fps or 1280 x 720 at 60, 50, 30 and 25 fps, plus 960H and CVBS at 960 x 480i, 720 x 480i, 960 x 576i and 720 x 576i. Capture formats are 8-bit RGB24, RGB32, YUY2, YV12 and NV12. Eight mono audio inputs arrive on a wafer connector at 10-bit, 8 or 16 kHz.

The card is M.2 Type M on a PCIe x4 link, with RCA breakout cabling for the video inputs, eight GPIO lines and a watchdog. Cropping and scaling, auto signal detection, deinterlacing and multiple instances are handled on the card, and Yuan provides a Windows and Linux SDK for DirectShow and V4L2 applications. The SC400N4 M2 TVI is the four-input M.2 version, and the SC420N16 TVI takes sixteen TVI inputs on a PCIe card.

Yuan lists Windows, Linux 4.8 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit, and Linux ARM on NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. We supply it tested in the host computer it goes into, with drivers installed and capture checked on the inputs you plan to use. The SC400N8 M2 TVI suits in-vehicle recording, compact NVRs and security systems built around analog HD cameras.
