Yuan SC5A0N2 HDV PCIe HDMI and DVI Capture Card with 2-Channel Capture at 1080p30

Recording two sources at once, such as a presenter camera and a slide computer, or two pieces of test or imaging equipment, usually means two cards and two slots. The SC5A0N2 HDV is Yuan’s two-channel PCIe HDMI and DVI capture card that handles both from one x1 slot, with DVI-D and DVI-A connectors that take HDMI, YPbPr, S-Video and composite sources.

Each channel accepts 1920 x 1080p at 60/50 fps and captures at 30/25 fps, with 1080i, 720p and computer modes from 640 x 480 to 1280 x 1024 listed for HDMI and DVI. Composite and S-Video run at 720 x 576i50 and 720 x 480i60. It delivers RGB24 and RGB32 at 4:4:4, YUY2 at 4:2:2 and YV12 or NV12 at 4:2:0, which lets software pick the format its encoder or vision library expects. Each channel captures stereo embedded audio at 16-bit and 32 to 48 kHz.

The card sits in a PCIe x1 Gen2 slot and supports multiple instances and multiple cards per host, with cropping and scaling, automatic signal detection and deinterlacing on board, plus 16 GPIO and a watchdog. Yuan supplies a Windows and Linux SDK for custom applications, and DirectShow and V4L2 compatibility means tools such as OBS, vMix, Cisco Webex and Zoom can open the card directly. The SC5C0N2 HDV is the two-channel 1080p60 counterpart that adds VGA, and the SC5A0N1-L HDV is the single-channel card with loop-through outputs.

Drivers cover Windows 7 to Windows 10, Linux 2.6.14 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit form, Linux on ARM and the NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. So the card can serve a Windows lecture recorder as readily as a Linux or Jetson-based capture appliance. The board measures 107.5 x 84.51 mm.
