mPCIeSC5C0N1 MC AIO Overview
Small embedded computers, vehicle systems and compact medical or inspection units often have a Mini PCIe slot and no room for a full-size capture card. The SC5C0N1 MC AIO is Yuan’s Mini PCIe HDMI, SDI and DVI capture card for them, taking HDMI, DVI-I, YPbPr and SDI sources on a 30 x 50.95 mm card, with 1080p60 capture and an SDI loop-through output.
It captures 1920 x 1080p at 60/50 fps from HDMI, DVI, YPbPr and SDI, and takes 1920 x 1200 sources at up to 60/50 fps in, captured at 30/25 fps. HD-SDI and SD-SDI formats are also listed. It delivers RGB24 and RGB32 at 4:4:4, YUY2 at 4:2:2 and YV12 or NV12 at 4:2:0, which lets software pick the format its encoder or vision library expects. SDI and HDMI embedded audio is captured as stereo at 16-bit and 32 to 48 kHz.
The inputs arrive through on-board wafer connections, so the connectors can be placed where the enclosure needs them. An H.26X encoder, cropping and scaling, automatic signal detection and deinterlacing are on board, with support for multiple instances and cards. Yuan supplies a Windows and Linux SDK for custom applications, and DirectShow and V4L2 compatibility means tools such as OBS, vMix, Cisco Webex and Zoom can open the card directly. The SC5C0N1 MC HDV drops SDI for HDMI, DVI-I and YPbPr only, and the SC5C0N1 MC SDI is the SDI-only Mini PCIe card.
Drivers cover Windows 7 to Windows 10, Linux 2.6.14 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit form, Linux on ARM and the NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. Jetson support in particular suits compact edge units that run video analytics on captured feeds. The card measures 30 x 50.95 mm and connects over a PCIe x1 link.
