Yuan SC710N2-L HDMI2.0 PCIe HDMI Capture Card with 2 x HDMI 2.0 Inputs at 4K60

Recording or streaming two 4K sources from one PC can quickly use up the free slots in a slim chassis. The SC710N2-L HDMI2.0 is Yuan’s two-channel PCIe HDMI capture card, a low profile board with HDMI 2.0 inputs, bringing both 4K feeds into the host through one PCIe x4 slot.

Each HDMI 2.0 input captures up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 or 50 fps, and also takes 2560 x 1440 at 144 fps and 1920 x 1080 at up to 240 fps. Single-link and dual-link modes are supported, with dual-link combining both inputs for 8K30 capture. Color formats cover 4:4:4 8-bit RGB24 and RGB32, 4:2:2 8-bit YUY2, 4:2:0 8-bit YV12 and NV12, and 4:2:0 10-bit P010. Two stereo embedded audio channels at 16-bit and 32 to 48 kHz travel with the video.

The card uses a PCIe x4 Gen2 interface. On-board processing covers cropping and scaling, auto signal detection and a deinterlace engine, and multi-instance and multi-device support lets software open several streams or cards at once. Yuan provides a Windows and Linux SDK and lists vMix, OBS, Zoom, Teams and Cisco Webex among compatible applications, along with DirectShow and V4L2 software. The SC710N2 M2 HDMI2.0 carries the same two inputs on an M.2 module, and the SC720N4 HDMI2.0 doubles the count to four HDMI 2.0 inputs.

Operating system support covers Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, Linux 4.8 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit builds, Linux on ARM, and NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. The low profile board measures 139.71 x 68.9 mm, which suits compact and 2U systems as well as full-size desktop hosts.
