Yuan SC720N4 SDVoE-C PCIe SDVoE Capture Card with 4 x SDVoE Inputs at 4K60

The SC720N4 SDVoE-C is Yuan's four-channel PCIe SDVoE capture card, taking four SDVoE streams through 10G RJ45 ports, each at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 fps. It suits recording and monitoring servers that take several 4K sources from a 10G copper network into one PC.

  • Inputs: Four 10G RJ45 ports each take an SDVoE stream, so one card captures four network video sources at once.
  • Resolution: Each input captures up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 or 50 fps, keeping 4K network sources at full resolution.
  • Color Formats: RGB24 and RGB32 at 4:4:4 8-bit, YUY2 at 4:2:2 and YV12 at 4:2:0 cover full-colour and bandwidth-saving capture.
  • Audio: SDVoE embedded audio is captured with each stream, so sound stays with its video from the network to the file.
  • Host Interface: A PCIe x4 Gen2 interface connects all four inputs to the host through a single expansion slot.

SC720N4 SDVoE-C Overview

A recording or monitoring server that takes several 4K feeds from an AV over IP network can run out of slots if each stream needs its own card. The SC720N4 SDVoE-C is Yuan’s four-channel PCIe SDVoE capture card, with four 10G RJ45 ports that bring four SDVoE streams into the host through one slot.

Each input captures up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 or 50 fps. Color formats cover RGB24 and RGB32 at 4:4:4 8-bit, YUY2 at 4:2:2 8-bit and YV12 at 4:2:0 8-bit, so software can keep full color detail for review or drop to a lighter format for recording and streaming. SDVoE embedded audio is captured with the video, so sound and picture stay together.

The card connects to the host over PCIe x4 Gen2, carrying all four channels through one slot. That keeps the other slots in the server free for storage, networking or GPU cards. Each of the four ports sits on the card itself, so the streams arrive over PCIe rather than through the server’s own network interfaces, which stay free for storage and control traffic. The SC720N4 SDVoE-F is the same four-channel design with SFP+ ports for fiber links, and the SC710N1-L SDVoE-C is the single-channel card with an HDMI loop out for a local monitor.

The RJ45 build suits 10G copper runs, so the choice between the two follows the cabling already installed. With four 4K inputs on one board, the card also suits multiviewer and archive systems that gather several network sources in one place. Operating system and SDK support should be confirmed with our team against the host system when the card is specified.

Official Yuan USA Distributor

Things Embedded is an official Yuan USA distributor, supplying the SC720N4 SDVoE-C configured for USA AV over IP projects. Within the Yuan range the SC720N4 SDVoE-F is the four-channel card with SFP+ ports for fiber links, and the SC710N1-L SDVoE-C is the single-stream card with an HDMI loop out.

As a four-stream network card the SC720N4 SDVoE-C sits among our PCIe capture cards and our video capture cards. Where several 4K streams arrive over a 10G copper SDVoE network and must be captured in one server, this is the model to specify.
