SDVoE to HDMI2.0-C Overview
Where HDMI displays and projectors sit away from the source, the SDVoE to HDMI2.0-C is Yuan’s HDMI 2.0 SDVoE receiver for the display end of a fixed copper run. It takes an SDVoE stream from the 10G network and converts it back to HDMI 2.0. Yuan describes SDVoE as lossless and zero-latency, which typically suits pro AV and live production work where a delay would show.
The SDVoE input is one RJ45 port for 10G copper, and video leaves on one HDMI 2.0 output that follows the format of the incoming stream, so the transmitter sets resolution and frame rate. Analog L/R audio travels both ways through a stereo phone jack, IR passes in both directions, and RS232 runs over the same link for controlling the source or display.
A second RJ45 port handles control, and one USB port extends USB HID devices such as a keyboard and mouse. The unit runs from a 7.5 to 15 V DC input in a rugged case and is plug and play. The HDMI2.0 to SDVoE-C is the matching transmitter on the same copper link. If one site needs both cable types, the SDVoE to HDMI2.0 V2 switches between copper and fiber and adds PoE power.
Yuan does not list operating temperature, certification or mounting for the SDVoE to HDMI2.0-C, so we confirm those against the site with you. We supply the SDVoE to HDMI2.0-C configured and tested with the sources, displays and network it will connect to, so the link is proven before it reaches site.
