Antaira LMP-1202G-SFP 12-Port Gigabit Managed Industrial PoE Switches with 8x PoE+, 2x SFP and Extended Temperature Options

Twelve ports give room in one cabinet for eight powered devices, two more copper links and two fiber ring links. The Antaira LMP-1202G-SFP series packs that into a DIN-rail switch with eight gigabit PoE+ ports, two gigabit RJ45 ports, two dual-rate SFP slots, Layer 2 management and hazardous-location approvals.

Every LMP-1202G-SFP switch shares the same design. Each switch has ten 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 ports, eight of them IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+, and two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots for single-mode or multi-mode modules, on a 24 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table. Management is Layer 2 with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, IEEE 802.1p QoS, IGMP v1/v2 multicast filtering, LACP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON and DHCP Option 66/67/82. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP, and Modbus TCP supports SCADA monitoring. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS and SSH/SSL for secure access. MAC-based port lock blocks unauthorised access, and a USB 2.0 port backs up the configuration. Power arrives on 48 V to 55 V DC redundant inputs through a removable 6-pin terminal block. Each PoE+ port delivers 25 W from a 48 V DC supply and the full 30 W from 51 V to 55 V DC. Overload current, reverse polarity, EFT and ESD protection are built in, and exceptions can trigger an e-mail alert or the relay output.

The series offers two temperature builds. The LMP-1202G-SFP is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated cabinets and indoor plant. The LMP-1202G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures. Where the PoE devices only need 10/100 links the LMP-1202M-SFP series is the nearest range, and the LMX-1202G-SFP series is the version without PoE.

Antaira names power and utility, water and wastewater, oil, gas and mining, factory automation, security surveillance and ITS among the applications for the LMP-1202G-SFP series. Standard builds run from -10 °C to 70 °C and -T builds from -40 °C to 75 °C, so the same switch can serve an indoor panel and an unheated roadside or utility enclosure. Every model has an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or optional wall mounting, is designed to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration, and Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1, UL Class 1 Division 2, NEMA TS2 and ATEX Zone 2 certifications with RoHS compliance.
