Where field devices only need 10/100 links, Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports with separate gigabit uplinks put the bandwidth where it is used. The LMP-1202M-SFP-24 is the standard temperature, low-voltage input build in the Antaira LMP-1202M-SFP series: a managed industrial switch with eight 10/100 PoE+ ports, two gigabit RJ45 ports and two 100/1000 SFP slots that runs from 12 V to 55 V DC.
It has eight 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W each, two 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports and two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots for gigabit fiber, on a 9.6 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table. It is a Layer 2 managed switch with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, IEEE 802.1p QoS, IGMP v1/v2/v3 multicast filtering, LACP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON and DHCP Option 66/67/82. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP, and Modbus TCP supports SCADA monitoring. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS and SSH/SSL for secure access. Port mirroring supports online diagnostics.
Power arrives on 12 V to 55 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-pin terminal block, so either supply can carry the load. A built-in voltage booster gives full 48 V DC PoE from low-voltage supplies, and the budget depends on input voltage: 90 W at 12 V DC and 240 W from 48 V. Overload current, reverse polarity, EFT and ESD protection are built in, and exceptions can trigger an e-mail alert or the relay output.
The LMP-1202M-SFP-24 is rated -10 °C to 70 °C, which suits heated cabinets, control rooms and indoor plant. It has an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or wall mounting and is designed to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1, UL Class 1 Division 2 and NEMA TS2 certifications with RoHS compliance, and the switch carries Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LMP-1202M-SFP-24-T is rated -40 °C to 75 °C, and the LMP-1202M-SFP is the 48 V version of the same switch. We supply the LMP-1202M-SFP-24 and can pre-configure IP addressing, VLANs and ring settings.
