Antaira LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67 18-Port 10G Managed M12 Ethernet Switches with 2x 10G SFP+, IP67 and Extended Temperature Options

Sixteen gigabit devices on one switch can push more traffic than a single gigabit uplink carries, and in an exposed location the copper side still needs locking, sealed connectors. The Antaira LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67 series is a family of managed M12 Ethernet switches that pairs 16 X-coded M12 ports with two 10G fiber slots in an IP67 metal housing.

Each LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67 has 16 gigabit 10/100/1000Base-T(X) ports on 8-pin X-coded M12 female connectors and two 1G/10G SFP slots for single-mode or multi-mode fiber, switching store-and-forward on a 72 Gbps fabric with a 32K MAC table and eight priority queues. Light Layer 3 adds static routes and DHCP option 82, so traffic can move between subnets without a separate router. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS v2 restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, with STP, RSTP and MSTP for other layouts, and bypass protection on ports 8 and 16 supports daisy-chain redundancy. Access is secured with multi-user accounts, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs, IP source guard and SNMP v3, and the firmware covers VLAN, GVRP, QoS, IGMP snooping and LACP. The RS232 console, a USB 2.0 configuration backup port and one digital input all sit on A-coded M12 connectors, power arrives through an M12 K-coded connector, and a 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact can flag faults.

The series offers two temperature grades on the same dual 24 to 55 V DC input, with up to 30 W drawn. The LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 65 °C, and the LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 70 °C for unheated, exposed sites.

Antaira describes the design for applications subject to high vibration and shock in dust, liquid or gas laden environments. The fanless IP67 metal housing mounts on a wall, storage is rated -40 °C to 85 °C with 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity, and Antaira lists IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. FCC and CE marks, RoHS compliance and EN 50121-3-2 and EN 50121-4 railway EMC compliance apply, with Antaira’s 5-year warranty.
