Antaira LNP-C500G 5-Port Compact Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switches with 4x PoE+ (120W) and Extended Temperature Options

Rail space is often the first thing to run out in a control panel, and many panels only need to power a few devices. The Antaira LNP-C500G series is sized for that: a small unmanaged industrial PoE switch with four PoE+ ports and one uplink, so a handful of cameras, access points or sensors can be powered without a full-width switch or separate injectors. Because the budget covers every port at full load, there is no need to work out which devices can share power.

Every LNP-C500G shares the same design. Four 10/100/1000Base-T(X) RJ45 ports follow IEEE 802.3af/at at up to 30 W per port, and a fifth Gigabit RJ45 port carries the uplink, all with auto MDI/MDI-X. The 120 W PoE budget covers all four ports at the full 30 W, so no device has to be derated. Switching is store-and-forward with an 8K MAC table and 10 KB jumbo frames, and there is nothing to configure. Power arrives on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a 4-pin terminal block, with reverse polarity and overload current protection, and Antaira rates surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC.

The series comes in two temperature grades. The LNP-C500G is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated or indoor panels. The LNP-C500G-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated enclosures exposed to outdoor temperatures. Where the devices need more than 30 W or the link back needs fiber, the LNP-C501G-SFP-bt series offers 90 W PoE++ ports and an SFP slot in a similar small case.

Antaira names factory automation, ITS, power and utility, and water and wastewater treatment as applications for the LNP-C500G series. The small case leaves room for supplies, breakers and termination in the same panel. Both builds sit in an IP30 metal case for DIN rail mounting, with wall mounting as an option, shock and vibration ratings to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6, UL 61010-1 certification and FCC, CE and RoHS marks.
