Antaira LNX-C500G 5-Port Compact Gigabit Unmanaged DIN Rail Ethernet Switches with Extended Temperature Options
The Antaira LNX-C500G series is a family of small 5-port gigabit unmanaged DIN rail Ethernet switches with five 10/100/1000 RJ45 ports on a 10 Gbps backplane, 10K jumbo frames, redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs and NEMA TS2 compliance in an IP30 metal case. The LNX-C500G series suits factory automation, ITS, power and utility, and water and wastewater treatment installations.
- Five Gigabit RJ45 Ports: Five 10/100/1000BaseTx RJ45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X give each connected device a full gigabit link.
- 10 Gbps Backplane: A 10 Gbps store-and-forward backplane, 8K MAC table, 1 Mbit buffer and 10K jumbo frames keep all five ports at line rate.
- Space-Saving Metal Case: Antaira’s small IP30 metal case fits crowded DIN rails and OEM equipment, with optional wall mounting.
- Redundant 12 to 48 V DC: Dual DC inputs on a 4-contact terminal block draw 6.6 W, with reverse polarity, overload, surge and ESD protection.
- NEMA TS2 and UL 61010-1: Antaira lists NEMA TS2 compliance and UL 61010-1 certification, with FCC, CE and RoHS and a 5-year warranty.

LNX-C500G Description
Tight panels are no longer only for slow devices: vision cameras, gigabit controllers and data loggers now share small enclosures, and a Fast Ethernet switch becomes the bottleneck. The Antaira LNX-C500G series gives those panels full gigabit links in a small footprint. These are 5-port gigabit unmanaged DIN rail Ethernet switches that Antaira says can handle high-bandwidth applications in tight spaces.
Every LNX-C500G shares the same design. Five 10/100/1000BaseTx RJ45 ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex and support auto MDI/MDI-X. Store-and-forward switching runs on a 10 Gbps backplane, enough for every port at full gigabit speed, with an 8K MAC address table, a 1 Mbit packet buffer, 10K jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control. Redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs connect through a removable 4-contact terminal block, each switch draws 6.6 W, and reverse polarity, overload, surge (2,000 V DC) and ESD (6,000 V DC) protection are built in. Jumbo frame support helps with large transfers such as images from a vision camera, and because the switch has no management interface there is no configuration to keep, so a spare from stores can replace a failed unit in a few minutes with no laptop.
The series has two temperature grades. The LNX-C500G is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for indoor panels and OEM equipment. The LNX-C500G-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated roadside, utility and water treatment cabinets. The LNX-C500 series is the Fast Ethernet equivalent in the same case, the LNX-C501G-SFP series swaps one copper port for an SFP fiber slot, and the LNP-C500G series adds PoE+.
Both models use an IP30 metal case for a DIN rail, with wall mounting as an option, rated to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists FCC, CE, RoHS and UL 61010-1 certification and NEMA TS2 compliance, and covers the LNX-C500G series with its 5-year warranty. Antaira names factory automation, ITS, power and utility, and water and wastewater treatment plants as applications. Where five gigabit links have to fit beside a controller on a short length of rail, these DIN rail Ethernet switches are a natural fit.
