Antaira LNX-1002C-SFP-T 10-Port Gigabit Unmanaged DIN Rail Ethernet Switch with 2x Combo SFP and -40 to 75 °C

Eight devices on Fast Ethernet and two gigabit uplinks is a common shape for a field or machine cabinet. The LNX-1002C-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-1002C-SFP series: an industrial unmanaged Ethernet switch with eight Fast Ethernet ports for devices and two gigabit ports for the uplinks.

It has eight 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDI-X, and two gigabit combo ports, each usable as RJ45 or SFP: a 10/100/1000Base-T copper port or a 100/1000 SFP slot. That lets one uplink run on copper to a nearby cabinet while the other runs on fiber over distance. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 5.6 Gbps switching fabric, with an 8K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit buffer, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control, so there is nothing to configure.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, and the LNX-1002C-SFP-T draws 12 W. Antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection against unregulated voltage, reverse polarity protection and overload current protection, and one relay output rated 24 V DC, 1 A signals a power failure to a PLC or alarm panel.

The LNX-1002C-SFP-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C, which suits unheated and outdoor cabinets where winter lows and summer peaks go beyond a standard rating. The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail or a wall, with the mounting hardware included. Shock, vibration and free-fall testing follow IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-32. Antaira lists UL Class 1, Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certification, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and the switch is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-1002C-SFP is the same switch rated -10 °C to 70 °C, the LNX-0802C-SFP-T has six Fast Ethernet ports, and the LNP-1002C-SFP-T adds PoE+.
