Remote SCADA systems and control networks often bring many fiber links back to one cabinet, and that cabinet needs management, redundancy and security as much as ports. The LNX-2012GN-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-2012GN-SFP series: a fully manageable Layer 2 industrial Ethernet switch with 12 SFP slots and eight gigabit copper ports.
It has eight 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X and 12 dual-rate 100/1000 SFP slots, on a 40 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table and 9.6 KB jumbo frames. Layer 2 management covers IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, 802.1p QoS, IGMP v2/v3 for up to 256 groups, 802.3ad LACP trunking, LLDP, RMON and port mirroring. Redundancy runs on STP, RSTP, MSTP and Antaira’s Super Ring, and security on 802.1X, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, HTTPS, SSH/SSL and MAC-based port lock. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with an RS232 console port on RJ45, and Modbus/TCP lets a SCADA system monitor the switch. We can pre-configure IP addressing, VLANs and ring settings where you ask.
Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, and the LNX-2012GN-SFP-T draws 10 W. Reverse polarity and overload current protection guard the input, a CPU watchdog restarts the switch if it hangs, and exceptions trigger an e-mail warning or a relay output. Antaira names power and utility, water and wastewater, oil, gas and mining, factory automation, security surveillance and ITS among its applications.
The LNX-2012GN-SFP-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C, which suits unheated and outdoor cabinets where winter lows and summer peaks go beyond a standard rating. The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail, with wall mounting as an option. Shock, vibration and free-fall testing follow IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-32. Antaira lists UL 508, FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and the switch is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-2012GN-SFP is the same switch rated -10 °C to 70 °C, the LMX-2012G-SFP-T is another Antaira managed switch with the same eight copper and 12 SFP layout, and the LMP-2012G-SFP-T adds PoE+.
