Antaira LNX-C501G-SFP-T 5-Port Compact Gigabit Unmanaged DIN Rail Switch with 1x SFP and -40 to 75 °C

Outdoor cabinets on utility, water, mining and ITS sites are often both unheated and a long way from the control room, so the switch needs a wide temperature rating and a fiber port. The LNX-C501G-SFP-T is the extended temperature model in the Antaira LNX-C501G-SFP series, rated -40 °C to 75 °C: a small five-port gigabit unmanaged DIN rail switch with one SFP uplink.

Four 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex and support auto MDI/MDI-X, and one dual-rate SFP slot accepts 100 or 1000 Mbps transceivers. A DIP switch sets the SFP speed, so the switch can meet an older 100 Mbps fiber link without any software. Switching is store-and-forward on a 10 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC address table, a 1 Mbit buffer, 10K jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control.

Two 12 to 48 V DC inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block give redundant power, with reverse polarity protection and a slow-blow overload fuse, and the switch draws 4.6 W. A relay contact rated 24 V DC at 1 A and a fault LED sit alongside the power LEDs. Antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection, which matters near the electrical plant these cabinets often serve.

The IP40 metal case mounts on a DIN rail or a wall. Antaira lists FCC, CE and UL 61010-1 approvals for the LNX-C501G-SFP-T, backs it with its 5-year warranty and names power and utility, water and wastewater, oil, gas and mining, factory automation, security surveillance and ITS as applications. The LNX-C501G-SFP is the standard build rated -10 °C to 65 °C, and the LNX-0501G-SFP-T is a slim extended temperature alternative with the same port mix.
