Antaira LNX-0501G-SFP-T 5-Port Industrial Extended Temperature Gigabit Unmanaged Ethernet Switch with SFP

A roadside cabinet, pumping station or trackside enclosure is usually a long way from the network core and has no heating, so it needs a switch that survives frost and summer heat and can send its traffic home over fiber. The LNX-0501G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-0501G-SFP series: an industrial unmanaged Ethernet switch rated -40 to 75 °C.

It has four 10/100/1000Base-T(X) RJ45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X and one SFP slot that takes a 100 or 1000 Mbps transceiver, so the fiber type and reach follow the module chosen. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 10 Gbps switching fabric with an 8K MAC address table and 9.6 KB jumbo frame support. There is no management interface and nothing to set up, which suits sites a field engineer visits rarely.

Antaira builds in broadcast storm protection, surge protection to 3,000 V DC, ESD protection to 6,000 V DC and one relay output that signals a port break to a PLC or telemetry outstation. The LNX-0501G-SFP is the standard -10 to 70 °C build for indoor cabinets, and the LNX-500AG-T offers five copper ports at the same extended rating. For ring redundancy and PoE+, the LMP-1002G-10G-SFP is the managed Antaira option.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a 6-pin terminal block and the switch draws 5 W. The LNX-0501G-SFP-T measures 30 x 99 x 142 mm in an IP30 aluminum case and mounts on a DIN rail, with a wall bracket included. Antaira lists it as UL Class I, Division 2 certified, with FCC and CE marks, and covers it with a 5-year Antaira warranty.
