Antaira LNX-C800G-T 8-Port Compact Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Network Switch with -40 to 75 °C

Traffic, utility and water treatment cabinets increasingly carry gigabit cameras and controllers, yet many are small and unheated. The LNX-C800G-T is the extended temperature model in the Antaira LNX-C800G series, rated -40 °C to 75 °C: an eight-port gigabit unmanaged industrial network switch in a small metal case for those enclosures.

Its eight 10/100/1000BaseTx RJ45 ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex and support auto MDI/MDI-X. A 16 Gbps store-and-forward fabric lets all eight run at gigabit speed together, with a 4K MAC address table, a 512 Kbit buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control. Being unmanaged, it needs no set-up before it goes into the cabinet, and a spare can be fitted by a site technician without a laptop.

Two 12 to 48 V DC inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block give redundant power, and the switch draws 4 W, which leaves room on a small cabinet supply. Reverse polarity protection and a slow-blow overload fuse guard against wiring and supply faults, and LEDs show both power inputs and a fault indicator for quick checks on site.

The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail, or on a wall as an option, and is rated to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists FCC, CE, RoHS and UL 61010-1 certification for the LNX-C800G-T and covers it with its 5-year warranty, naming factory automation, ITS, power and utility, and water and wastewater treatment plants as applications. The LNX-C800G is the standard build rated -10 °C to 65 °C, and the LNX-800AG-T offers eight gigabit ports with a power-fail relay.
