Antaira LNX-C800G 8-Port Compact Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Network Switch

Machine panels now host gigabit vision cameras, controllers and data loggers, often with eight or more devices sharing one tight cabinet. The LNX-C800G is the standard temperature model in the Antaira LNX-C800G series: an eight-port gigabit unmanaged industrial network switch in a small metal case, rated -10 °C to 65 °C for indoor cabinets.

Eight 10/100/1000BaseTx RJ45 ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex and support auto MDI/MDI-X. Store-and-forward switching runs on a 16 Gbps fabric, enough for every port at full gigabit speed, with a 4K MAC address table, a 512 Kbit buffer, 9,216-byte jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control. The switch is unmanaged and forwards traffic as soon as it is powered.

Redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs connect through a removable 6-contact terminal block and the switch draws 4 W. Reverse polarity protection guards against a reversed supply, and a slow-blow fuse provides overload current protection. LEDs show both power inputs and a fault indicator, so a technician can check the switch at a glance.

The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail, with wall mounting as an option, and is rated to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists FCC, CE, RoHS and UL 61010-1 certification for the LNX-C800G, covers it with its 5-year warranty and names factory automation, ITS, power and utility, and water and wastewater treatment plants as applications. The LNX-C800G-T is rated -40 °C to 75 °C, the LNX-C800 is the Fast Ethernet equivalent, and the LNP-C800G adds PoE+ on all eight ports for powered devices.
