Arestech CB-2200 Intel Processor N97 Rugged Compact Computer with Dual 2.5GbE, Ignition Control and -40 to 70 °C

Kiosks, access control points, IoT gateways and vehicle installs share a need for a small fanless computer that copes with cold starts, unstable power and vibration. The Arestech CB-2200 is the Intel Processor N97 model in the CB-2200/2250 series series, a rugged computer with 9 to 48 V DC power ignition control and a -40 °C to 70 °C operating range. Arestech lists factory automation, access control, self-service kiosks, rugged embedded work and IoT gateways.

The CB-2200 runs an Intel Processor N97 (Alder Lake-N) at up to 3.6 GHz with TPM 2.0. One DDR5 4800 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB. A removable 2.5″ SATA SSD tray holds the main drive, and an M.2 B-Key 2230/2242/2280 slot with PCIe, SATA and USB 3.0 takes either a SATA M.2 SSD or an optional 4G or 5G module. Windows 11 IoT and Linux are supported.

Two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-IT controllers, two DisplayPort 1.4a outputs at up to 4096 x 2160 (one through USB Type-C), three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and one USB 2.0 Type-A port cover networks, screens and peripherals. Two RS-232/422/485 ports, four isolated DI and four isolated DO on terminal blocks, line-out and mic-in complete the I/O. A full-size mini-PCIe slot and two SIM holders support optional wireless. The CB-2250 is the Core i3-N305 sibling, and the CB-2210 carries the same I/O on the newer Intel Processor N150.

Power is 9 to 48 V DC through a DC jack or three-pin terminal block with ignition input, protected against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. The cable-free, fanless aluminum chassis is tested to 5 Grms vibration and 50 G shock and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. A wall kit is included and a DIN-rail kit is optional. We supply the CB-2200 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before it ships.
