Arestech PM-2250 Intel Core i3-N305 Fanless Modular PC with Dual 2.5GbE and 2x COM

HMIs that run richer visualization, kiosks with video and surveillance stations that handle several streams benefit from more cores, while keeping the computer as a module that can be swapped without replacing the screen. The Arestech PM-2250 is the Core i3-N305 model in the PM-2200/2250 series series, a fanless PC module that pairs with Arestech DM-1xxP display modules in its modular system. Arestech lists factory automation, HMI, self-service kiosks, security and surveillance, and warehouse management.

The PM-2250 runs an Intel Core i3-N305 (Alder Lake-N) at up to 3.8 GHz with TPM 2.0. One DDR5 4800 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB. A removable 2.5″ SATA drive bay holds the main drive, and an M.2 B-Key 2230/2242/2280 slot with PCIe, SATA, USB 3.0 and SIM takes an optional 4G or 5G module. Windows 11 IoT and Linux are supported.

Two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-IT controllers, two DisplayPort 1.4a outputs at up to 4096 x 2160 (one through USB Type-C), three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and one USB 2.0 Type-A port connect the display, touch, cameras and printers. Two RS-232/422/485 ports, four isolated DI and four isolated DO, line-out and mic-in complete the I/O, with a full-size mini-PCIe slot and two SIM holders for optional wireless. The PM-2200 is the Intel Processor N97 sibling, and the CB-2250 puts the same Core i3-N305 electronics into a wall-mount rugged chassis.

Power is 9 to 48 V DC through a DC jack or three-pin terminal block, protected against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. The cable-free, fanless aluminum chassis runs from -40 °C to 70 °C, is tested to 1 Grms vibration and 15 G shock, carries CE and FCC Class A marks and has a VESA mounting plate on its base. We supply the PM-2250 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before it ships.
