Arestech PPC-Z1512PW 15.6″ Full HD PCAP Stainless Steel Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1235U, Dual 2.5GbE and IP66/IP69K

On food and beverage lines, a built-in card reader can show who changed a setting, and it is easier to clean than one bolted beside the HMI. The PPC-Z1512PW is the projected capacitive build in the Arestech PPC-Z1512PW/RW series: a 15.6 inch stainless steel panel PC sealed to IP66 and IP69K as a whole system, with a flat front and 7 Mohs PCAP glass that wipes clean.

The Intel Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.4 GHz, with the Core i5-1335U as an option, on dual-channel DDR4 3200 across two SO-DIMM sockets for up to 64 GB. Operating system support covers Windows 11 IoT or Professional and Linux. Storage is an internal SSD bay with SATA RAID 0/1 plus an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe Gen 4 x4 or SATA, with firmware TPM and an optional TPM 2.0 module. The 15.6″ Full HD display runs at 1920 x 1080 (16:9) with 450 nits, 800:1 contrast and 170° horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

Every external connection is on a sealed M12 connector: two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-V controllers, two RS-232/422/485 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and two USB 2.0 ports. A front IP67 USB 3.2 Gen 2 port takes a memory stick. A built-in 13.56 MHz RFID reader reads Mifare and FeliCa card UIDs, which suits card-based operator log-in. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot and an M.2 2230 E-Key socket take optional wireless modules. The PPC-Z1512RW is the same build with 5-wire resistive touch, and the PPC-Z1564PW pairs the same screen and sealing with the Celeron J6412 for lighter workloads.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on M12 with AT and ATX modes, plus an optional Super Cap UPS. The PPC-Z1512PW runs from -10 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and 15 G IEC 60068-2-27 shock, and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. SUS316L is optional, and VESA, yoke and wall mounts use optional kits. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before it ships.
