Arestech PPC-Z1564RW 15.6″ Full HD Resistive Stainless Steel Panel PC with Intel Celeron J6412, M12 I/O and IP66/IP69K

Hospitality and catering operations clean down every surface in a kitchen, and a terminal that staff log in to with a card has to take that cleaning as well. The PPC-Z1564RW is the 5-wire resistive build in the Arestech PPC-Z1564PW/RW series: a 15.6 inch stainless steel panel PC sealed to IP66 and IP69K as a whole system, with a flat front and touch that responds to pressure, so it usually works through gloves.

The Intel Celeron J6412 runs at up to 2.6 GHz on dual-channel DDR4 3200 across two SO-DIMM sockets for up to 32 GB, which is usually plenty for one HMI application, data entry or a monitoring screen on Windows 11 IoT or Professional or Linux. Storage is an internal SSD bay plus an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe x2 or SATA, with firmware TPM. The 15.6″ Full HD display runs at 1920 x 1080 (16:9) with 450 nits, 800:1 contrast and 170° horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

Every external connection is on a sealed M12 connector: two GbE ports on Intel I210-AT controllers, two RS-232/422/485 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port and two USB 2.0 ports. A front IP67 USB 3.2 Gen 1 port takes a memory stick. A built-in 13.56 MHz RFID reader reads Mifare and FeliCa card UIDs, which suits card-based operator log-in. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot takes an optional Wi-Fi module. The PPC-Z1564PW is the same build with projected capacitive touch, and the PPC-Z1512RW pairs the same screen and sealing with the Core i5-1235U where more compute is needed.

Power is 12 to 36 V DC on M12 with AT and ATX modes, plus an optional Super Cap UPS. The PPC-Z1564RW runs from -10 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and 15 G IEC 60068-2-27 shock, and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. SUS316L is optional, and VESA, yoke and wall mounts use optional kits. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before it ships.
