Arestech TPM-3615R-B6A1 15″ 5-Wire Resistive Stainless Steel Touch Monitor with IP66/IP69K Sealing and M12 Connectors

On many hygienic lines operators wear gloves for the whole shift, and taking them off to use a screen is a food-safety issue as much as an inconvenience. The TPM-3615R-B6A1 is the IP69K display in the Arestech TPM-3615 series built for gloved hands: a 5-wire resistive touch screen on a 15 inch LCD, inside a 316 stainless steel enclosure sealed to IP66/IP69K as a complete unit.

Resistive touch registers pressure, so it responds to gloved fingers and a stylus. The layer has 80% transparency and a 3 Mohs surface over a 300 nit 4:3 XGA panel at 1024 x 768, with a 600:1 contrast ratio, 160° viewing angles and a 50,000 hour rated life. Touch connects over USB, with drivers for Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, Windows Embedded and Linux, including Fedora and Ubuntu, and six OSD keys cover menu, up, down, auto adjust, power and a function key.

Connections at the rear of the TPM-3615R-B6A1 are sealed like the enclosure: VGA and USB on M12 connectors, HDMI on an IP67 waterproof connector and 12 to 24 V DC on M12, drawing 16 W from a single source. Optional 2 m M12 and IP67 cables and a 12 V, 60 W M12 power supply carry the signals and power to an industrial PC in a remote cabinet. For bare-handed operation, the TPM-3615P-B6A1 offers the same monitor with projected capacitive touch.

The brushed 316 stainless steel enclosure has a true-flat front, measures 435 x 350 x 66.9 mm and weighs 6.71 kg, and mounts on 75 or 100 mm VESA patterns or a yoke. The TPM-3615R-B6A1 operates from -20 °C to 60 °C at up to 95% humidity with CE and FCC marks, which suits food and beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical process areas.
