ASRock Industrial iEP-6011E-000 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB Wide Temperature Edge AI PC with DIN Mount

Some vision and inspection systems need Jetson Orin NX compute but run models that fit comfortably in 8 GB of memory. The ASRock Industrial iEP-6011E-000 is an edge AI PC for that case: the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB in the same ultra-compact case and I/O as the iEP-6010E series, mounted on a DIN rail, a wall or a VESA bracket.

The iEP-6011E-000 has 8 GB of 128-bit LPDDR5 and runs NVIDIA JetPack 5, with an HDMI 2.0 output for a local display. An M.2 M-key 2280 socket takes a PCIe Gen4 x4 or Gen3 x4 NVMe SSD, the M.2 B-key socket can hold a second, PCIe Gen3 x1 SSD, and there is a microSD slot and TPM 2.0.

I/O covers two Gigabit LAN ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (one locking), two USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 and one RS-232/422/485 port, plus DB15 connectors for four digital inputs, four digital outputs, CAN bus, I2C and SPI. An M.2 E-key socket takes a Wi-Fi module. Power is 12 to 36 V DC on a Phoenix connector with 80 V surge and reverse protection, with a locking USB Type-C PD 20 V input as a backup source.

ASRock Industrial rates the iEP-6011E-000 from -25 °C to 60 °C with a wide temperature Gen3 NVMe SSD, or to 55 °C with a Gen4 SSD, with 100 G operating shock and 5 Grms vibration. The 55 mm wide case weighs 1.3 kg. For the same edge AI PC layout with 16 GB of memory, the iEP-6010E-000 uses the Orin NX 16GB module.
