ASRock Industrial iEP-6020E-002 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB DIN-Rail AI Computer with 4x PoE for Cameras

Four-camera inspection cells and small video analytics sites need compute that keeps up with every stream and ports to power them. The ASRock Industrial iEP-6020E-002 is the 4PoE build of the iEP-6020E series, a fanless Jetson Orin NX 16GB DIN-rail AI computer with four IEEE 802.3af PoE ports for IP cameras.

The Jetson Orin NX 16GB module pairs 16 GB of 128-bit LPDDR5 with up to 157 sparse (78 dense) INT8 TOPS with Super Mode, so the iEP-6020E-002 can typically run detection, tracking or recording workloads across four camera streams on one unit. It runs NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 on Ubuntu 22.04, with a TPM 2.0 on board. Storage is an M.2 2280 M-Key socket for a wide-temperature PCIe Gen4 or Gen3 NVMe SSD and a microSD slot.

Alongside the two Gigabit Ethernet ports (one from the module, one on an Intel I210AT), four Intel I210IT ports supply IEEE 802.3af PoE, so six RJ45 ports in total. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (one locking) and two USB 2.0 ports take cameras and peripherals, and HDMI 2.0 drives a local display. One RS-232 and one RS-232/422/485 port connect serial devices, and two DB15 connectors carry four digital inputs, four digital outputs, CAN bus, I2C, SPI and remote power signals. This is the one build without the M.2 E-Key Wi-Fi socket, as the PoE ports take its place.

Power is 12 to 36 V DC on a Phoenix-type connector with 80 V surge, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and reverse protection. The fanless iEP-6020E-002 is rated from -25 °C to 50 °C with 0.5 to 0.8 m/s airflow and is tested to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-64 vibration. Mounting is vertical wall or DIN rail. We supply it configured and tested, with the NVMe SSD and the JetPack image fitted. The iEP-6020E-001 keeps Wi-Fi with two PoE ports, and the iEP-6022E-002 is the Orin Nano 8GB version of this four-port build.
