ASRock Industrial IMB-X1715-10G Intel Arrow Lake-S Core Ultra W880 ATX Industrial Motherboard with 10GbE, ECC and Dual Thunderbolt 4

Vision and inspection systems often move large image sets between cameras, storage and a line server, and a Gigabit link can become the limit. The ASRock Industrial IMB-X1715-10G is a W880 ATX industrial motherboard for Arrow Lake-S Core Ultra processors that adds a 10GbE port to the board, so a fast uplink does not have to take a slot.

The LGA1851 socket takes Core Ultra 200S processors up to 125 W, with power limits up to 252 W supported. Four DDR5 Long-DIMM slots hold up to 256 GB of ECC or non-ECC memory, at 6400 MHz with CU-DIMMs or 5600 MHz with U-DIMMs. Intel Xe graphics drive up to four displays, and the W880 chipset brings Intel vPro with AMT for remote management. Windows 11 and Linux are supported.

Networking is three RJ-45 ports: a Marvell AQC113 running at up to 10GbE, an Intel I219LM with vPro and an Intel I210AT. Expansion is two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, as one x16 or two x8, three PCIe 4.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots, with support for an optional ASRock Rack PAUL card for IPMI. Two M.2 M key sockets (PCIe 5.0 x4 and PCIe 4.0 x4) and four SATA 6Gb/s ports carry storage with Intel VMD RAID, and M.2 E key and B key sockets take optional cards. The rear panel adds two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4a, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 and a Thunderbolt 4 port, with a second Thunderbolt 4 connector inside and six COM ports.

The IMB-X1715-10G is rated from -20 °C to 70 °C, runs from an ATX supply in AT or ATX mode, and carries a TPM 2.0 and a watchdog timer. We supply it with the processor, memory and storage fitted and tested, on its own or built into a complete system. The IMB-X1715 is the same board with two Gigabit ports, and the IMB-X1317-10G brings 10GbE to Micro-ATX with five LAN ports.
