Axiomtek AIE800-904-FL-DC NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Rugged Waterproof AI Computer with M12 PoE and 9-36 V DC

Outdoor AI on a vehicle, a solar-powered pole or a remote site usually runs from DC, not mains, and every connector exposed to rain has to lock and seal. The AIE800-904-FL-DC is a waterproof AI computer from Axiomtek that pairs an IP67 die-cast enclosure with a 9 to 36 V DC input on M12, so it mounts outside without a cabinet or an AC supply.

The NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX 8GB combines a 6-core NVIDIA Carmel Arm CPU with a 384-core Volta GPU and 48 Tensor Cores, rated at 21 TOPS, with 8GB of 128-bit LPDDR4x and 16GB of eMMC for the operating system. That covers detection, classification and counting on one or two camera streams, and the waterproof AI computer runs Ubuntu 18.04 or later with NVIDIA JetPack.

Every external port locks. One M12 X-coded GbE port supplies 802.3af PoE at 15 W to a camera, an M12 A-coded connector carries dual USB 2.0, a C3 HDMI port provides Full HD output for set-up, and power enters on a 5-position M12 A-coded connector at 9 to 36 V DC. The AIE800-904-FL-DC adds an M.2 Key B 2242 NVMe slot and a full-size Mini Card slot with SIM for LTE or Wi-Fi, served by four waterproof N-jack antenna openings.

The AIE800-904-FL-DC runs fanless from -30 to 50 °C, is tested to IEC 60068 shock and vibration, and carries CE, FCC Class A and UKCA marking, in a 366.83 x 235 x 83.8 mm, 4.4 kg enclosure with Allxon remote management. Where mains power is available, the AIE800-904-FL takes 100 to 240 V AC and supplies 30 W PoE+.
